Ninth Circuit Court Ruling delayed the October 7th Recall
Election, possibly until March of next year.
The issue is that six California counties have not
upgraded to electronic voting tools, and the claims
that votes of up to 40% of the public could be incorrectly
tallied if the older paper "chad" oriented
equipment is used.
More court actions are forthcoming, and the original
election date may be restored.
Arnold's comments indicate in no uncertain terms that
he would like the election to proceed as scheduled.
If it does not, at least it will allow more time for
voters to learn about the issues.
