Writer Arianna Huffington dropped out of California recall race because of lack of support. She had little support to begin with, and used her candidacy to influence this election.

Huffington has criticized Arnold's political experience, though it is interesting that she has done little more than write about politics with works such as "How To Overthrow A Government" according to her own website/biography.
